Wonderful, dual-purpose grooming tool Oct 03, 2011 By Jenn
I purchased this grooming tool because I HATE the handles on run-of-the-mill, cheap shedding blades. They're not ergonomic at all and are uncomfortable to use. I also hate how the loops of the blades don't complement horses' natural body shapes-- it constantly makes me worry that I'm going to accidentally hurt my horse. This tool fits comfortably in my hand AND complements my horse's body shape nicely. It's extremely easy to use, and I never have to worry about hurting him. It's also not that much more expensive than a normal shedding blade, and it serves two purposes instead of one. In my book, it's a great buy.

I have a Morgan and a Welsh Pony, both infamous for their fuzzy winter coats despite blankets. It's spring and the Welsh has already started blowing her coat. This blade works perfectly. The pony is so pleased, she stands with a 'grin' on her face as I work. Highly recommend.

I've had horses since the early 80's and this is the best shedding blade - sweat scraper I've ever used. It is sturdy and comfortable to use. Far superior to any other product of it's type.
