A definite great product Mar 02, 2011

I actually purchased this for personal use on the recommendation of a buddy of mine at the gym. Like me, he gets tendon inflammation and pain in his elbows from working out with heavy weights. I've used capsaicin lotions available in regular retail stores and pharmacies. Equi-Block has the same concentration of capsaicin, is made as a non-greasy liniment, and comes in the large bottle instead of a small squeeze tube. It warms the joint and surrounding tissues and really does seem effective at blocking transmission of the pain compounds as described in their literature. All I know is that when my elbows or my shoulders are aching from strenuous use, this stuff makes them feel great. If you've ever had elbow or shoulder pain, you'll know that it can really affect your ability to get a good night's sleep, and it limits what you can do physically without discomfort. The great thing about Equi-Block is that it allows me to avoid using any type of pain medication. I try not to take any painkillers, not even aspirin or acetaminophen. I swear by this stuff.

I have been using this product for years! Being a competitive powerlifter, I tweek muscles and joints from time to time. A little of this stuff goes a long way! Just be sure to wear had protection, you DO NOT want to get this stuff in your eyes, and even rubbing your eye hours after applying will result in eye pain IF you do not wear gloves. Also note, water hitting the spot seems to make this hotter. For example, when you take a shower the day after applying, you will feel it heat up again, may even get a little red - even with COLD water (which does not feel very cold on the application spot.
Great stuff. I also use their "Leg Tightner", which is just a higher concentration of Menthol with a very minute amount of Capsaicin. I drive both products deeper with a little bit of dmso as well.
