5Great for hot spots and lick sores  Feb 06, 2011 By MFG
My dog is a Doberman so he's a little obsessive. When he gets a sore spot, he will lick it raw and keep licking out of habit. I find that this spray works the best for him, and it's much better than Bitter Apple which he'll just lick off. I think the tea tree oil both helps with healing and also doesn't taste good to him. I've recommended it to other friends who have similar issues with their dogs and they all agree it works very well.

4works well, MOST of the time  Sep 01, 2007 By JAF "JAF1960"
I've been using this, almost finished with an entire bottle so far, for the past 8 months on our longer hair mix (papillon & pomeranian). He weighs about 20 -22 lbs. All during the winter this seemed to have been just perfect to keep him from being itchy between shampoos but now that it is super hot, no matter how much I apply he still seems unhappy & itchy so I am back to get a couple other customer recommended treatments (thanks for taking the time to rate things!!).... I DO really like this product, especially because it is natural & improves his hair condition (we get compliments all the time on his coat), my hands even feel good after. However, I think that it is apparently good for "normal" between shampoos, anything "worse" needs something different. Or, maybe it is like shampoos that humans use! We have to switch off of we build up "immunity" to the effects of "our favorites"...... more than likely, this is the cause, I need to stock more than one type of product so we can switch off......

I use this product for a dog that likes to barber his own hair. It works great.
