I tried this item as a desperate means to rid my dogs of those horrible flies. After reading the instructions, I sprayed my dogs with it. And it worked. Wow! I couldn't believe it. My dogs didn't like it at first. But after one day with no flies, they were willing to get sprayed. Thanks Miracle Coat.

This isn't as powerful as the heavy chemicals you can get, but it works fabulously for a natural product. I use it on both myself and my dogs and the bug repelling properties seem to last for about and hour or 2 before needing a reapplication. So far it seems to repel mosquitoes and ticks well, haven't seen many flies or other bugs to know how it works on them.

I read the other 2 reviews hoping that I had found the solution to my dogs fly problem. I received the product and sprayed it on them (2 labrador retrievers)and it is horrible, the flies are MORE attracted to them now. Ever since I put it on them there are more and more flies so now I am back to the horrible smelling swat spray. The Miracle Coat spray does smell good but attracts more flies! I have tried just about everything, I pick up their waste all day long so it is not sitting around, they are bathed! If anyone has any other ideas please let me know.

I recently had a fly problem with my dog. They were really attracted to him for some reason and were starting to bite on his ears. We used this spray and the flies instantly went away. It really is a "Miracle" coat. I love it.

If you're looking for a spray that isn't toxic this is it. I have 3 dogs that get sprayed every morning before going out. You know how these kids love walking in the high grass and yup! here comes those mosquitos they'll hover around the dogs but don't land on them and worse bite them. Today especially was very humid and wet outside, this is great stuff. They all get Frontline Plus but they need additional help for mosquitos and this is it and it has natural ingredients.
