| | Description | This is a Miracle Coat QuickFinder deluxe Safety Nail Clipper. It works particularly well on large dogs, and dogs with hard to cut nails. A patented safety nail trimmer, this deluxe model has improved cutting action, sensitivity and range, and strength for large breeds and hard to cut nails. It's a claw type (scissor style) cutter that detects the quick in an animal's claw, and alerts you where and where not to cut. This way you avoid cutting blood vessels and nerve bundles. This clipper is recommended for home or professional use. Strong enough for Groomers and Veterinarians. Quickfinder deluxe is a new and revolutionary tool which uses medical technology to detect your pet's quick before you clip - never again worry about cutting into your dogs quick again! Patented 'QuickSensor' technology guarantees you know where the quick is by watching the indicator light turn green. There are three colored lights on the handle: red for "don't cut", yellow for "caution", and green for "safe to cut". It's guaranteed to eliminate cutting worries, and works on dogs with dense nails, even black claws. Safe, easy and fast to use.. The Quickfinder is made from the finest quality stainless steel which will give a long-lasting sharp cutting edge. Start cutting your animal's nails with confidence - effortlessly and precisely! Quick Finder Delux is a sham.... Sep 02, 2009 The "quick Finder Deluxe" is a horrible product that is sold to pet owners with the company having obvious deceptive practices; they attempt and succeed in tugging the heartstrings of pet owners who do not want to traumatize their pets by cutting the nails to short and hitting the "quick" which will cause pretty intense pain, blood and fear for the animal.
The lights were completely sporadic, blinking yellow, then showing red or green at any time...green (meaning it is ok to cut) even showed when I was at the base of the nail.
What a shame that this company would use a pet owners care andconcern as a ploy to make more money sellig a product which is absolutely horrible.....

Great product! Jan 30, 2009 I bought both Quick Finder and Quick Finder Deluxe.
Quick Finder didn't work well but Deluxe worked just fine.
Before I used, I watched the DVD and read the manual.
As long as you use correctly it works great.
I've been using with my lab and I love it!

Deluxe means costs more, not works better Dec 14, 2008 The Quick Finder has received some bad reviews on the models for small and medium dogs. I was hoping the "deluxe" version would be a better tool; no such luck. The clipper cuts the nail on large dogs just fine, but good luck in trying to interpret the flashing lights. I tried on several different occasions to cut my dog's nails but was unsuccessful in reading the lights. Sometimes the light would turn green at the base of the nail (definitely quick here); other times the light would stay red until the nail was completely out of the clipper. I really put a lot of effort in trying to make this work, but could not.
