Oster Adjusta-Groom Pet Clipper Mar 01, 2009
By Jill Furzer

I purchased the Oster Adjusta-Groom Pet Clipper for my Maltese dog, who has fine, soft hair. I particularly wanted to use it on his feet. The clipper's weight and design were good, but the clipper itself was totally ineffective in cutting the dog's hair and I returned the product.

Nice looking kit Feb 07, 2010

I bought several of these. They might do OK pet grooming but they are noisy and the blade will barely go through the hair. I don't recommend it unless it is priced very low and you are not looking for a quality pet clipper.

not a happy clipper Sep 13, 2010
By pcolombo I bought this to use on my cat and because it was suppose to be quiet and adjustable. It is everything but that. It barely cut my cats fur. I would call it thinning it out at best. Needless to say, very unhappy with this product. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Loud, only worked for 5 minutes Mar 09, 2010

I got these to groom my horse before shows. It worked for about five minutes and then stopped when I tried clipping a bridle path. It seemed as though the top plate was screwed on too tight from the factory and the blade couldn't move. I unscrewed it, didn't see any hair caught anywhere and put it back together, tightening it until it stopped moving again and then loosening it just enough for it to move. (It doesn't seem like a good idea to loosen it too much, since the moving blade isn't actually attached to anything!) Even with the blade moving, it doesn't seem to cut anything anymore.
It was very quiet when I turned it on for the first time, but very quickly became very, very loud.
I got it as the gold box deal of the day, so at least I didn't pay full price for it...
