terrible performance Sep 06, 2010
I've been using nail grinders for years. This grinder would not work at low speeds, and the grinder part kept coming loose. It was noisy and stressed my dogs who are very used to sitting quietly to have their nails done. I've packed the grinder up and will be returning it.

NOT In Stock as advertised Aug 26, 2010
pretty simple...

The grinder was NOT in stock as advertised by EntirelyPets. Not only was it not in stock, but there was no communication from the seller to inform me there would be a delay. I only found out once the estimated delivery date had come and I curiously sent and email asking for shipping information.

I've asked for a refund, but so far I've not heard back from the seller.

I buy a lot for my pets and I will certainly NOT place another order with this company via amazon or otherwise.

fyi, i've read good things about the grinder - reviews by buyers and pet mags.

EDIT:
Within a few hours of leaving this review I received an email stating the grinder had shipped. I'll return to update review for product once I've revieved and had a chance to use and evaluate.

I have used a grinder for my show dogs' nails for decades. When my 20 year old grinder finally gave up the ghost, I did an internet search and found this item on Amazon, $30 cheaper than some other places and with free shipping!!!! Amazon by far had the best price. I really like the newer slim body on this grinder and found it had less vibration than my old grinder. You have to read the directions to get the best use of it because it has more features than my old grinder and I was unfamiliar with some of them. Once I figured everything out I was super pleased by the product and find it far superior to my old grinder. I have tried some of the cheaper Pedi Paws type products and they are just not worth the money and cannot get the job done. For an extra $10 you can get this amazing grinder and it will last for years, if not decades, and give you a great result in record time. Buy with confidence! This is a great product and I searched everywhere for the best price and found it here.

I bought this for my dogs nails because the Pet one on TV was week and seemed to take forever to finish their nails. The pet guard on the TV one, caught in my dogs nails and kept pulling. This one worked great! Fast and easy. AND it works on my nails too. I do my own acrylic and it makes the job fast and easy without the expense of a salon nail filer.

Was shocked after I got the Oster Nail Grinder has a tag on the power cord( contains lead wash hands after touching the power cord)?????What about the dog you are using it on the cord touches the dog? If you take it out of the case you will never get it back in have wondered how they got it into the case.Works well on my Doberman s nails wish they would have a cover for it for long haired dogs.
