AS EXPECTED, AS AGREED, NO SUPRISES. QUALITY IS GREAT FOR PRICE AND GETS THROUGH THICK COATS AND HELPS REMOVE MATTES REMAINING AFTER USING MATTE RAKE. BECAUSE IT IS METAL, IT DOES NOT FLEX LIKE SIMILAR PLASTIC PRODUCTS WHICH CAN SKIP OVER TANGLED SPOTS WHEN THEY FLEX. BECAUSE OF ITS TWO SIDED MEDIUM/COURSE COMB WIDTH DESIGN, IT MAKES A GREAT PRE CUT COMB OR YOU CAN SIMPLY USE IT TO KEEP YOUR PET'S COAT GROOMED. FOR THE OCCAISONAL HOME USER IT SHOULD LAST A VERY LONG TIME.

Most grooming brushes just brush at my shih tzu's long hair and leaves tangles & mattes underneath. This comb does a great job getting all the way through his hair and helps to prevent the mattes from starting.

I got a Maltese and Shih-tzu. This brush can serve me day to day brushing (which both my dogs have long hair, require to be brushed daily.) It is also perfect when I groom them. Great buy. :)

Incredibly well crafted comb. I especially like the round ends which don't scrape my cat's delicate skin and it is obviously well constructed.

Bought this comb to get the knots out of my dogs leg hair. It's a very sturdy comb and fits comfortably in the hand. The spacing between the teeth is just right...and you have two choices, depending on the coarseness of the coat and the size of the knot. The comb is also long and sturdy enough to comb the coat out and run your trimmer along the comb for a straight cut. I have checked the stores at other metal combs for pet grooming, and this by far is the nicest one I have found. The others are too big and cumbersome to store in a case with other grooming tools. This is flat and doesn't take up any room at all.
