THIS IS THE ONE...... Jan 17, 2010
By Reality Check We have a very picky cat. She refuses to play with anything or with anybody. She would rather sit and sulk, thinking that you should feel guilty that she must endure you. We have tried many toys and spent many dollars trying to get her interested in something, even playing with yarn and boxes - a sure winner with other cats that we have had.
We stumbled on this at a local pet shop and decided to try it. Our cat was immediately interested and LOVES this toy. It releases a mild "squeek" when bumped or thrown (it must have a small battery buried somewhere inside), but it isn't obnoxious. After several weeks she still enjoys it and we enjoy watching her play for a change. The other toys are still around and she still isn't interested in them, but this is the best. Sometimes the entire family is looking for the mouse if it gets misplaced or is "chased"under the couch.
This has really taken the "grouch" out of our cat.

Lots of fun for my cats Dec 08, 2009

"ocelle"
I have two very active young cats and this mouse has saved my furniture! They pick the mouse up in their mouths and run all over the apartment. It is so cute to watch them play wild hunters! It is a tough toy too. My boys have dumped it a hundred times in their water bowl and the poor thing continues working after I dry it with the blow dryer. It is so real that the cats are sure that they are dealing with a mouse. The little squeak it makes makes me feel sorry for the mouse as it were alive, imagine! Well, it is so much fun that we put it away to give the cats a break. We bought a new one because our Leo hid his mouse and now can't remember where it is and cries all over the home looking for it. I strongly recommend this toy and want to take the opportunity to congratulate its inventors.

My cats adore it Feb 26, 2010
By Kikikins I was afraid this wouldn't go over well with my Tornado and Tsunami. However, they appeared to be bored too much in my opinion and I figured why not give it a try. For the first few minutes with it, they were really confused as they had never seen a mouse before. However, after a few minutes, they were going after it crazily and did so for more than a few weeks until it got caught under the stove. If your cats appear bored and you have a few bucks to spare, give it a chance! Just make sure to block the little space underneath the stove or other hard to move appliances!

Very poorly made Dec 01, 2011
By CookGirl-MO I bought this for my two cats who are accomplished hunters - even though they are inside cats. This little toy lasted all of 15 minutes before the squeaker died. The toy is still in tact, so it wasn't that they had torn it to shreds. Once it stoped squeaking, cats lost interest as it became no more interesting then any simple $1 toy. For the price of the toy, it should longer than 15 minutes. I contacted the company and spoke with Kate, who seemed uninterested in the quality issue. She told me to return the toy to where it was purchased. I do not think they test these toys with real cats. Save your money and buy something better made.

Great until the cat killed it Jan 25, 2011
By North My cat loves the thing; tossing it around like it was trying to kill it. The toy finally stopped squeeking after 1 week after I bought it. The cat now proceeds to tear the skin apart. -1 star for longevity another -1 for not being able to repair the squeeker without having to take the skin apart although the cat did that for me. 3 stars because the cat continues to play with whats left of it. Also, this toy does not bode well on hard floors.
