3Harder than I expected  Jul 28, 2008 By Daniel Paul Long
My vet had a rubber brush like this on her counter, which I liked very much. When I got home, I searched online and found this one. It turned out to have much harder bristles than the one at the vet, so it wasn't as soothing to my 23-year-old cat as I had hoped; however, I occasionally comb her with it.

5I use it on my boxers  Jan 19, 2012 By J. Troutner
Good curry for short hair dogs too-I use it on my boxers head, legs, and bellies. I think this would be a good curry for small short hair breeds like Pugs and Bostons. It grabs loose hair well and has a curved side and flat side-the curved side is good for the legs.

5Great for small, short-haired dogs  Sep 17, 2010 By Kalamazoo
I use this on my two dachshund-mix dogs and it's great! My go-to brush. They like it, too, since it kind of gives them a massage. They never liked bristle brushes (still don't) but have never had a problem with this. It also has a second side (one flat, one concave) that i use for brushing out their tails. Supposed to be for cats but it's perfect for my dogs!

3effective, but hairy  Jul 16, 2010 By Tracy A. Webb
This item removes hair better than anything else I've ever used and my cat loves it. However, it doesn't collect and hold the hair like a regular comb or brush does, so you wind up with tons of loose hair floating about.

5Luv this brush for my short coated dogs  Jul 15, 2010 By Diane Arend "Diane"
I use this brush on my short coated dogs, 3 pugs and a Doberman. They enjoy it and it removes dead hair and dirt. Great brush. The bristles are soft. The key is to not press hard on the animal with the brush. They key is the let the weight of the brush glide the bristles along the animals coat
