5Wahl Switchblade Clippers  Jun 27, 2009 By Mellomel
I really like the design and function of these clippers. They are easy to hold and cut super fast without hair getting caught.

3Wahl Swichblade Clippers  May 04, 2009 By Schnauzerlvr "doglvr"
I really like the fact that the clippers are super quiet and you can adjust the speed. The clippers cut clean and do a good job. The reason I am only giving these clippers a three star is that the get hot very fast. You then have to turn off the clippers and let them cool down. Also, with the placing where the speed dial is, it is easy for your hand to turn it up or down as you are grooming.

3Good While It Lasted  May 05, 2010 By skeerguy
I used this clipper for two hours once every five weeks on my Portuguese Water Dog. It worked well but after two years it has died. Our dog was always bathed prior to clipping and we oiled the blade 2 or 3 times each time we used it. Very disappointed that it died so soon after such light use.

3Okay  Jun 05, 2009 By Le Monde "Le Monde"
These clippers are powerful and they give a nice cut. The only problem is, is after a while you start having problems with these clippers. In the grooming salon a lot of other groomers purchased these clipper only to have them, start shaking (Beyond what is normal for clippers to shake) and being loud. Horrible especially if you have a scared or aggressive dog on the table.
Like I said they do give a good cut, excellent cut, that is why I am having a hard time thinking of how to rate this product.I guess it just depends on whether you will want the hassle of sending them in to get fixed. The things listed above happened within a two year period, to all of the groomers that had these clippers. Luckily we all keep a spare.

4Wish they didnt get so hot....  Nov 19, 2010 By Stemichoi
I use these at work and they are awsome!!! They have alot of power and I can adjust the speed easily with my finger and They are comfortable in my hand ... however they get hot QUICK especially if your trying to get through a thick coat ....So have some cool lube ready.. we have noticed they dont get as hot when using the Oster blades.
